This series of three ritualistic, deeply erotic evenings is created by visual artist and sex educator Dorte Holbek, following a visit to Japan. Each evening is inspired by one of the eight core aesthetic principles in Japanese culture and invites you into a slow, non-verbal, playful and sensual atmosphere with a hint of Kyoto Incense, where the rules are set when you enter.

In this workshop we practice ways of communicating explicitly what we're experiencing during various erotic exchanges. This opens up doors to deeper understanding of each other's experiences, and to being able to play in new and interesting directions, responding directly to what is happening in real time. Learning methods to communicate while we’re playing can help us to go for what we find sexy or sparks curiosity, and it can help us to touch in with our embodied desires.
