An intimate, playful, conscious & kinky series of rituals for couples
Love thrives in the familiar. Desire loves the mystery.
Rituals of Mystery is a series of three immersive rituals for couples who want to actively nurture intimacy and rediscover each other; through play, presence, polarity and conscious kink.
Each ritual stands fully on its own. Come to one, two, or all three. Together they form a journey through desire, trust and the body; separately, each is a complete experience in itself.
Why call it a ritual? Rituals are defined by a clear start and end point, they allow us to step out of everyday space-time and into a suspended place where meaning is created through intentionality. For some this framing enhances their experience and gives it depth, for others the impact is more subtle. We invite you to be curious.
No prior experience with kink or rituals needed, and you can attend any or all rituals - no prerequisites.
A gentle entry point for those who are curious about the world of kink but a little intimidated by it, where the focus stays on exploration between you and your partner, and everything moves at a pace you set.
"In order to maintain desire with one person over time we must be able to bring a sense of the unknown into a familiar space." — Esther Perel
Ritual I — Polarity & Attraction
Rediscover the mystery in someone you thought you knew.
Over time, closeness can quietly harden into assumption. We build stories about our partner, and slowly the living person in front of us disappears behind everything we think we already know. When familiarity crowds out curiosity, polarity fades and attraction can fade with it.
Polarity implies difference, and difference needs a little distance. When everything collapses into closeness, there's no charge left to feel.
This first ritual is an invitation to drop the narrative and meet your partner with fresh eyes. Through movement, eye contact, breath and playful exercises, we'll explore how contrast, tension and distance can reignite the charge between you. You'll practice the art of holding space between you, not to separate, but to let attraction build.
What shifts: You'll leave with a renewed capacity to see your partner as a mystery worth exploring, not someone you've already figured out, but a changing being who can still surprise you. And when surprise returns, so does desire.
This is Ritual I of three. It also opens the series: a natural place to begin if you're joining more than one.
The Structure:
Communal landing and grounding:
Together we slow down, exit the everyday world and enter into ritual space, a space guided by awareness and intentionality and separate from regular reality. You’ll get to meet the other couples and to ease into this space.
Explorations:
Most of this journey will be the preparation for the ritual play space. We will be exploring the themes of polarity and attraction. Devotion needs something it can direct itself towards. Surrender too, requires something worth surrendering to.We will explore what it means to be devoted, to surrender. And what it takes to be on the other side of that; of devotion, of surrender.
Attraction, wanting, desire… these too require something on the other side. These can only exist when we are not under the delusion that we already have, own or fully know the object of desire. We can only want what we don’t have. So that is what we will play with, allowing ourselves to let go of the illusions we hold, of knowing the other fully. Instead we embrace the mystery, cast ourselves and each other in new roles that allow the mystery to unfold.
Ritual play space:
The journey concludes in a ritual play space, a space held for you and your partner to play with what you learned and explored throughout the day.The culmination of the day. This exploration can take many different forms and while you get a clear frame to guide you, you also get the freedom to explore within it.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Rituals of Mystery is created mainly for established couples who want to reconnect and rediscover each other, but it's open to others too. This is for the brave who dare to venture beyond what they already know, or think to know about each other. For those who are ready to explore themselves and each other anew.
