Holding Healthy Anger - New Manhood

  • Shetlandsgade 3, 1st floor 2300 Copenhagen Denmark (map)

This event is part of the New Manhood series, in which we explore the many layers of the male-socialised experience as it is shaped through upbringing, biology, and cultural expectation.

Anger rarely arrives first.

Beneath it we often find hurt, disappointment, fear, grief, or a boundary that has quietly been crossed. Yet anger is the emotion that steps forward, asking us to pay attention. Not because it wants to control us, but because it has something important to protect.

We revisit the emotion that may be holding many of us back, sometimes without us knowing it consciously. If you joined us for the first Holding Healthy Anger session, it may land differently this time, not because the emotion has changed, but because you have. If this will be your first step into deep anger work, we aim to create a feeling of support and space holding from our team and your fellow explorers.

This workshop is an invitation to deepen your relationship with anger—not as something to suppress or unleash, but as a powerful expression of truth. Together, we'll explore what becomes possible when we stop asking how to get rid of our anger and begin listening to the wisdom it carries.

Through movement, breath, embodied exploration, and honest conversation, we'll discover that healthy anger is not aggression—it is life energy. We'll gently peel back the layers of frustration and resentment to uncover what lives beneath them, learning how anger can become a source of clear boundaries, authentic expression, purposeful action, and grounded strength.

Rather than reacting from habit or shutting ourselves down, we'll explore how to hold our anger with awareness, allowing its energy to move through us without losing ourselves to it. In doing so, we'll create space for greater clarity, deeper self-respect, and more honest relationships—with ourselves and with others.

Come with your fire. Leave with a deeper relationship to it, and discover what becomes possible when your anger becomes a faithful expression of your truth.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Curious, caring and compassionate male-born humans – both those who identify as men as well as male-born non-binary people who resonate with this path

CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?

Absolutely! The only prior experience required is growing up in a male body. You can join the individual workshop or the entire Manhood-series.

DO I NEED A PARTNER?

No partners required, you can come solo, with a friend or brother. The exercises can be practical, more physical, and sometimes hands-on, within each individual's boundaries. You’ll be encouraged to step in with openness and curiosity, working with different humans in a variety of combinations. Together, we will co-create in a fluid, collective experience that invites courage, play, and connection, without sexual activities or sexual interaction with others.

ABOUT THE MANHOOD SERIES

My mission is to create spaces where male-born humans can rediscover the parts of themselves they were taught to silence. I believe we all carry deep tenderness, intuition, creativity, desire, grief, humor, and an immense capacity for love. Too often, these qualities stay hidden because of inherited stories about what strength, emotion, and vulnerability are supposed to look like.

I support cis-men and male-born non-binary people in feeling without shame, speaking without fear, listening without defensiveness, and setting boundaries without guilt. I help them embody anger without harm and experience connection without collapsing or hardening. This work is not about perfection, but presence; not about performing strength, but embodying it.

Each workshop in the Manhood series stands on its own, offering a specific entry point into personal growth and embodied connection. Taken together, they form a rich journey – one that moves from brotherhood to embodiment, from communication to compassion, from guardedness to genuine openness.

This is an invitation to grow, to feel, to laugh, and to remember what it means to be fully human – together.
