Why do some people long to serve? Not because they are weak. Not because they have nothing to offer. Quite the opposite.
The desire to kneel often arises from abundance rather than lack. It is the desire to offer one's attention, body, effort, discipline, beauty, endurance, care or devotion for the erotic pleasure of another person. The pleasure of becoming useful. The relief of knowing exactly what is needed of you.
For one evening, we turn a shared dinner into a practice of conscious power exchange.
A dinner table is already a place of service, hospitality, leadership, generosity, and gratitude. KNEEL Dinner brings these dynamics into the foreground and invites us to explore them consciously, playfully, and with a certain amount of wickedness.
For one evening, the dinner becomes a participatory social ritual where we explore service, devotion, authority, and surrender through food, protocol, reflection, and play.
Submissives will receive preparation material beforehand, including a selection of positions and simple protocols to practise. During the evening they may be invited into service, presentation, inspection, tasks, challenges, and demonstrations of their particular qualities and strengths.
What kind of service comes naturally to you?
Are you attentive? Enduring? Elegant? Practical? Obedient? Creative? Erotic?
How do you wish to be used?
And what does it mean to offer that consciously?
Dominants will be invited to explore the complementary questions:
How do we dare to take the service available to us?
How do we communicate appreciation, corrections and punishment?
What does it mean to lead another person with dominance, deviance, clarity, generosity, and care?
As the evening unfolds, the room becomes a living exploration of power, devotion, discipline, gratitude, beauty, and presence. There will be food, conversation, observation, service, playful challenges, love, fun and laughter, and opportunities to deepen your understanding of both your own role, desires and your dynamic.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is a couples event.
This evening - and the KNEEL series - is for everyone who is curious about exploring power exchange as more than a dynamic. As a practice. As serious play. As deeply erotic. As a way of cultivating presence, intimacy, and conscious connection. And as a way of exploring who we are as humans and as social beings longing to belong.
THE KNEEL SERIES
This event is part of the KNEEL series by Anso Vela and Jac Fabian: Six immersive workshops, rituals, dinners, and social experiences about power. They are for couples and run from September to December 2026. You can join one, some or all events.
CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?
Yes you can. But be aware that the KNEEL series is not a step by step intro to how to play with power series. We explore together and in many different ways. We ask questions and find the answers within ourselves through exercises, play and reflections. You may learn a whole lot about what power exchange is about at its core for you, as we focus a lot on the why and how we bring ourselves more fully into the moments of power.
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
Yes you do! You need to sign up as a couple and at each KNEEL event one of you needs to be in the submissive and one in the dominant role. You cannot come without a partner. You do not need to be romantic partners or sexual partners, but you need to be open and excited about being erotic with each other in a power dynamic.
At the opening of the evening we facilitate that you agree on your boundaries of the day with each other and to what extend you may be open to engage with others. This is up to you.

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
The KNEEL series is facilitated by Anso Vela and Jac Fabian who have many years of experience with power exchange both as deep, erotic sessions and daily, meaningful practice.
Anso Vela’s (she/her) current artistic work develops spaces where power, intimacy and desire can be explored with awareness and intention. She creates immersive formats that function as laboratories for surrender, authority, trust and responsibility, engaging BDSM as both artistic language and relational inquiry.
Alongside this, her curatorial practice operates across larger cultural frameworks, shaping international collaborations and platforms that examine how art and culture can influence perception, contribute to structural change, and foster connectedness in a fragmented world.
Jac Fabian (he/him) is an experienced rope bondage and kink practitioner who’s been teaching and facilitating BDSM for more than a decade. His focus is the meeting point of perversion, power dynamics, aesthetics, group facilitation and co-creation processes, artistic experimentation, and consciousness. He is the founder and director of House of Play in Copenhagen. Jac has performed in Tokyo, at The Danish Royal Theatre and many other kink and art venues.
