Come for the Carnival. Stay for the Feast.
Join us for a full day of adventures in the world of Tivoli Noir! This event will be an immersive experience – once you step inside, you will find elements and characters playing out a day at the carnival. We will transform House of Play into a theatrical experience where the audience is encouraged to take part. Throughout the day, guests will move through a series of performances, workshops, intimate encounters, strange folks, and participatory moments designed to inspire curiosity.
Every space becomes part of the narrative.
Every guest becomes part of the atmosphere.
No need to be nervous, this is not a theatre performance and you will not be asked to take on a role. We are elevating the space with elements of roleplay and you are invited to engage in the ways that feel comfortable for you! This offers the opportunity for you to open yourself to how theatre can be infused to invite curiosity and support deeper dives and embodied integration. If that feels edgy, provoking, or intriguing to you – perfect! All are welcome to co-create the magical thrills of amusement with us.
After our opening ritual, we will continue the afternoon with workshop-like experiences, including exercises and performances, to support connection to yourself and others in the space. While we encounter the characters of this world, we can tell that something is hiding underneath, wanting to come out and play… As the day goes on, the interactions become naughty, dark, and revealing. Your perspective shifts from audience to backstage. The characters who have been performing will unravel and you will witness the action behind the curtains.
After a full day of exploration and discovery, the evening will open into a festivity of desires. In one area, we offer a selection of "rides" - kinky stations for you to experiment with, supported by our carnival characters. In another space will be a feast of seductive delights - people, food, music, and entertainment - to explore on your own in connection to the other participants. This is more than your typical play party – this is a Bacchanalia, a festival of pleasure.
PROGRAM
12.30 – Doors open The doors open early to give you space to land at your own pace, take in the spectacle, and connect with other carnival guests.
13.00 – Opening Ceremony At this point, the doors close and it will not be possible to join later, so please be on time.
14.00 – THE CARNIVAL
You will be taken on an immersive journey through our Tivoli world. In groups, you will get to explore the different shows, rides, and booths at the carnival. Each experience you have will invite you to lean into the flavors of Tivoli Noir.
There will be a short break…
Then, the exploration will begin to unravel a little more. The carnival characters you have seen in front of the curtain will now be witnessed backstage. As they become undone, you will find yourself going deeper (and perhaps darker) in your interactions with others.
18:00 – 20:30 DINNER BREAK Time to heat up the Big Tent for our main show. It will not be possible to stay at the venue unless you are part of the crew helping to set up the space.
20:30 – DOORS OPEN Please arrive between 20:30 and 21:00 to land in the space. It will be possible to change into your sexy outfits at this time (but please consider only bringing what you need, our wardrobe capacity is limited).
21:00 – DOORS CLOSE No entry after this. Arrive on time so you can settle and attune.
21:00 – 22:00 – THE BIG TENT OPENING We start the evening with a welcoming performance and ritual. Everyone will have the space to land in their bodies and meet with each other as day becomes night.
22:00 – 01:15 – THE FEAST
A playspace where you can spend tickets to “ride the rides” in our kink lab
A playspace for the main feast, the Bacchanalia – open for creativity, expression, shared pleasure, serving, and performances
Cuddle zone for melting and recharging
Safer Space Angels supporting the flow throughout the whole evening
01:15 – 01:30 – CLOSING CIRCLEWe believe in landing together. Staying for the closing is recommended, though not required.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This event is for those who are interested to experience what happens when the workshops and play parties we all know and love are infused with elements of theatre. Come with curiosity and a willingness to co-create the experience.

We do not tolerate any forms of aggressive cruising or boundary-pushing. This helps ensure a safer feeling of the space we are co-creating.
DRESSCODE
We invite you to play with the theme of Tivoli Noir! Guests are encouraged to express themselves to their own comfort - from sweet and simple to boldly and theatrically. Think dark and sexy circus characters - fans, feathers, and fringe! Leather and lace!
Afternoon: While the afternoon experience requires you to be comfortable and able to move around freely, this whole day is also a Tivoli, so we invite you to dress up in a way that feels meaningful to you during the day.
Play Party: Dress to embrace an evening of Bacchanalia set within our Tivoli Noir.Think sexy, daring, empowering, playful. What matters is intention and contribution – not perfection.

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
The Playground is a production collective that blends elements of theatre, kink, and ritual to hold spaces that explore the depths of intimacy through a playful lens. Co-created by Laura Tatar and Sune Rasmussen, our intention with The Playground is to design spaces where familiar ideas are experienced from new angles and new concepts can be explored through play, immersion, and reflection.

Laura Tatar (she/they) has a connection kink and a passion for facilitating transformation and healing through humor and play, especially around “the things people don’t want to talk about”. She teaches and holds spaces for consent, boundaries, conflict, and grief - guiding folks on their journeys to accepting more parts of themselves in favor of wholeness and authenticity. Laura is a theatre creator, holds a Masters in Social Work for Crisis and Trauma, and has facilitated workshops and supported consent angels in various S+ spaces.
Sune Rasmussen (he/him) is a theater kid and has been a co-creator and space holder for different S+ events like Power of Touch and Synesthesia, where he has been the Play Space Lead for several events. With a deep interest in how the psyche and the body are closely connected, Sune has a Social Worker education, is a trained Body SDS therapist, and is a current student at the Copenhagen Sexology School.
