Shame is a human condition we usually avoid. A condition we move away from. A condition that “keeps us in place”.
Shame often takes our power away, makes us small and makes us hide and suppress our desires and longings. Our goal with this weekend workshop is not to heal shame - we do not believe that all shame needs healing. Our goal is to expand our capacity to enjoy our shame.
Together we will explore what happens when we express and play with the many opportunities in the often very potent landscapes of shame.
In this workshop we will be curious about and experiment with our own and each others' shame to make it a welcome lover in our lives. To meet and share your own shadows and shame, to witness others share or play out shameful fantasies in a collective experience can expand our playground and interactions with ourselves and others.
To be seen in your deepest, most shameful moments can create profound and meaningful connections, not only to other people but also to yourself.
We know that in order to play in the dark landscapes of shame, we need to build a strong foundation of trust and security in the group. To establish this we will begin the workshop with movement, meditation and boundary work and from there move into individual and communal exercises and rituals to play out shame and witness others.
Working with shame as a collective can be playful and sometimes erotic. The aim of this workshop is not to make anyone feel in a specific way, and we do not focus solely on bringing our shame into the bedroom. Also, this workshop is not therapy while it might feel therapeutic to some. This workshop is about experiencing shame as a treasure in our lives, something NOT to be lost.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This workshop is for people of all genders and sexualities who
- is curious about holding on to the excitement and energy that lies in shame
- is willing to experiment and go to new places
- is willing to share their shame.
You might get equally triggered and aroused.
This workshop is NOT for you if:
- You are unwilling to step in with vulnerability and compassion
- You are only here hoping to get your kink met
- You have deep unresolved trauma that you haven’t worked with in therapy.
CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?
No, you need some experience in sex inclusive spaces as well as experience with dealing with triggers and difficult emotions
You have a foundational knowledge of how to regulate yourself and you are aware of your capacity and boundaries. All exercises are invitations, you are always free to step out at any point.
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
You can come alone, in pairs or as a group. We will do exercises as individuals and in groups, some will invite touch and connection with others. We will primarily work with random group pairings and you can therefore expect to do exercises both with same and different genders than yourself. You should generally be open to exploring the vast range of experiences that working with different partners can provide, however always within your own boundaries. You will not be able to work solely with one partner throughout.
DRESSCODE
Wear something comfortable that you can move around freely in for the majority of the workshop. It can be fun to bring different pieces of clothing or whole outfits that encourage you to step into different roles and meet your shame. This can both be something revealing or something that you are a little bit ashamed about.
WHAT TO BRING
If you have specific toys, tools, props etc., that spark your shame or can support you, please feel free to bring those.

They are passionate about blending play and awareness in ways that feel both deep and lighthearted and will invite you to explore the edges of your comfort zone with curiosity and a smile.
