The Art of Kissing – Joris Kern (Berlin)

  • Shetlandsgade 3, 1st floor 2300 Copenhagen Denmark (map)

We are very excited to present this workshop with Joris Kern from Berlin. It has been one of the most popular workshops in IKSK for a long time, and now you get a chance to kiss and connect here in Copenhagen too.

Do you love kissing and want to dive deeper into it? Or do you have no clue why people are so keen on this, but you are willing to give it another try? Do you kiss as a habit, but feel like there could be more to explore? Did you once upon a time meet this fantastic kissing match and dream about it ever since? Or do your partner and you don‘t feel „kissing compatible“?

This workshop is for you!

When we kiss, we get in contact with each other, we communicate desire and shyness, we learn and explore about the other one, we show ourselves, we demand and surrender. Sometimes we are almost having great sex with only our lips.

But whether kissing is nice or not is not only a coincidence!

In this workshop we will explore different qualities and ways of kissing. You will find out more about how you like to kiss and how you like to be kissed. You will also learn more about kissing as a way of communication.

So in this workshop we will kiss. A lot. Strangers, friends and loved ones. All of this strictly voluntarily, of course! Be prepared to feel awkward, curious and horny and also have a lot of fun!

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Anyone and anybody looking to explore A LOT of kissing!

NOTE: If kissing somebody of your own gender feels like it is absolutely no option, this workshop is not for you.

CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?

Yes! All levels of experience, bravery and shyness are welcome.

DO I NEED A PARTNER?

You can come alone, in pairs or as a group, however do not expect to stick to the same person or people all evening! Expect to mix and mingle with a lot of people – within your boundaries of course. The exercises are practical, physical, and hands-on.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Joris Kern has started giving workshops around sexuality in 2009, starting with the question "why -even if everybody involved has the best intentions- is it still so difficult to make sure, everybody involved really enjoys a sexual encounter?" and the intention to create spaces where people can explore different aspects of wanting, communicating, feeling, insecurity and all the other ingredients that are part of sexuality and relationships. Joris is a regular facilitator at IKSK (Berlin) and Zwischenwelten (Zürich), has written two books about consensuality as a culture of authenticity, playfulness and well-meaning, teaches pedagogues on sexpositive ways of sex-education, works also as mediator and loves to create spaces that support people to thrive.

Joris loves good kissing and is excited to share and spread this joy!.
