Join us for an evening of play and artistry! We will uncover our beliefs and our bodies (optional) and expose our genitals as the wonderful creations they are.
What stories do you carry about your own genitals? What stigmas have you absorbed about others’? Where could you replace judgement with curiosity?
We invite you to a creative evening where we gently peel back layers - of clothing, of stories, and of conscious or unconscious beliefs. Together, we will dismantle the ways we have been taught to think about our bodies and our genitals and what it might feel like to see them instead as the diverse works of art nature has to offer. Through warmth, humor, and compassionate exploration, we will expose the implicit and explicit messages we have received about size, shape, color, hair, smell… and work together to break down these messages that have led to our own fears, shame, and embarrassment. Our so-called “private parts” often live in the shadows and together, we will shine the light of compassion, humor and pride.
As the journey unfolds, we will allow clothes and old stories to fall away as we settle into natural states of being: naked, curious, and playful. In small groups, we will use paints, jewels, and other crafts to decorate and celebrate each others’ genitals. In collaboration, we create artworks with each others’ genitals and to honor and showcase them all as the masterpieces we see beyond the stories.
This workshop is the first of a series of 3 workshops in collaboration with The Playground, a production collective that blends theatre, ritual, and kink to explore our depths through immersive experience. These workshops will serve different flavours of what we offer at The Playground and lead up to a full-day event on the 27th of June.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This workshop is open to people of all genders and sexualities who feel curious to:
Explore and unpack the stigmas we carry about bodies
Meet their own (and others’) genitals with kindness and wonder
Get creative… and decorate some genitals!
You are particularly welcome if you want to explore your genitals in a neutral and non-sexual space, where the way your genitals are shaped does not in any way define your identity.
CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?
Absolutely! We are all somewhat beginners in this strange and beautiful walk of life. If you are quite new to S+ spaces, please read the Code of Conduct (below) and:
- Always get consent. Don’t stare at or touch other participants non-consensually.
- Don't assume gender or pronouns.
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
You can come alone, in pairs or as a group. We will be doing exercises in pairs and small groups. The framework is to shed layers in a collective experience and we encourage openness to different people and genders in the exercises. Exercises might require more or less physical contact. You are never expected to participate outside of your own boundaries. You’ll be invited to work with different people in various combinations throughout the workshop, giving you the chance to co-create in a fluid, collective experience.
DRESSCODE
Wear something that makes you feel good, something comfortable that you can move around freely in and that is easy to take off - suggested to bring several layers.

A towel/sheet/sarong (Mandatory)
We will provide supplies. You are welcome to bring any creative decorative items as well!
TIMES
18:30 Doors open for you to arrive and land in the space.
19:00 Doors close and we begin. If you are late you may not be permitted entry.
22:00 End of the facilitated evening, you can hang out for a little while to decompress and socialize in our lounge.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
The Playground is a production collective that holds spaces to explore the depths of intimacy through a playful lens. Blending elements of theatre, kink, and ritual, we hold the light and dark together with vulnerability and dignity. This is a new initiative held by experienced people who believe theatre and ritual can be infused to invite curiosity and support deeper dives and embodied integration. Co-created by Laura Tatar and Sune Rasmussen, our intention with The Playground is to design spaces where familiar ideas are experienced from new angles and new concepts can be explored through play, immersion, and reflection.

Laura Tatar (she/they) has a connection kink and a passion for facilitating transformation and healing through humor and play, especially around “the things people don’t want to talk about”. She teaches and holds spaces for consent, boundaries, conflict, and grief - guiding folks on their journeys to accepting more parts of themselves in favor of wholeness and authenticity. Laura is a theatre creator, holds a Masters in Social Work for Crisis and Trauma, and has facilitated workshops and supported consent angels in various S+ spaces.
Sune Rasmussen (he/him) is a theater kid and has been a co-creator and space holder for different S+ events like Power of Touch and Synesthesia, where he has been the Play Space Lead for several events. With a deep interest in how the psyche and the body are closely connected, Sune has a Social Worker education, is a trained Body SDS therapist, and is a current student at the Copenhagen Sexology School.
