The Thaw is that delicious moment when the ice cracks, the shoulders drop, and your body remembers it has hips. When the tingles return. When something in you softens, warms, and becomes available again. You’re ready to come out of hibernation!
Inspired by seasonal shifts, slow heat, and embodied mischief, we invite you to explore what’s ready to thaw in you - and how you help thaw the room. Because the vibe doesn’t magically appear. It’s built. Breath by breath. Glance by glance. Yes by yes.
At this play party, we explore what it means to not only show up for your own pleasure, but to actively help warm the field we’re stepping into. This is something we create - together.
The evening begins with a ceremony designed to help you land in your body, soften the nervous system, and attune to the collective rhythm. Meeting each other as if humans are a new species. Touching as if texture is a discovery. Letting curiosity lead rather than expectation.
From there, the night opens - for dance, exploration, and the kind of encounters that emerge when we stay present, playful, and aware of our own contribution to the space.
The main playspace opens for embodied expression, creative experimentation, and shared pleasure. Anything happens with consent at its core - chemistry, safety, and spark are co-created in every interaction.
The Connection Corner offers a lightly facilitated space after the ceremony. A place to feel, flirt, breathe, and sense before stepping deeper. Later it transforms into a second playspace for more intimate exploration.
Feel like shaking your tail feathers? Join the dance floor and let the juicy DJ help you shake off whatever winter tried to freeze.
Safer Space Angels are present throughout to support the collective experience. The feeling of safety is something we all help shape, so please reach out if something in the space feels off.
Need a pause? Melt into the cuddle zone, sip something sparkling at the bar, or hang out in the lounge.
WHO IS IT FOR?
For all genders, bodies, and levels of experience – especially for those who understand that warmth doesn’t magically appear, it’s built together.
This is for you if:
You want to be a participant, not a spectator
You know that presence can be hotter than performance
You’re willing to bring awareness, warmth, and responsibility into the room
You can hold your own desire while respecting someone else’s boundaries
You’re curious about what might awaken when you soften
Come solo, with a partner/s, or with friends.

A towel or sarong to put under you for play (mandatory)

WHAT TO WEAR
Thawed & Tempting – show us what’s melting.
Think spring, but make it sexy. Flowing fabrics, mesh, leather, harnesses, lace, raw textures – skin brushing against something interesting.
No streetwear or work clothes (i.e. jeans, ordinary t-shirts, regular workout clothes etc). No shoes indoors.

19:30–20:15: Arrive, land, and change if needed
20:15: Doors close - no entry after this
20:30–21:30: Opening ceremony
21:30–00:45: Free play, dance, cuddling, and meetings in the Connection Corner
00:45–01:00: Closing circle

Join our volunteer crew to help shape the vibe from within and get a free ticket – it’s one of the most magical (and warming) ways to experience House of Play.
To become a volunteer please write to us on info@houseofplay.dk before buying your ticket, let us know what shift you would prefer and we sort it first come, first serve. Add a few lines about what really appeals to you about being part of the crew, and if you have any experiences from similar roles.
“TheThawSetup” – Arrive at 16:00 to assist with setup and decoration (2 hours) and help out during the party (e.g. bar or runner shift) (1-1.5 hours).
“TheThawWelcome” – Arrive at 18:00 to assist with the finishing touches & welcoming the guests (2 hours), and help out during the party (e.g. bar or runner shift) (1-1.5 hours).
“TheThawCleanUp” – clean up right after the party (approx. 1.5-2 hours).
Shift plans will be sent out the week leading up to the party.
