The Secret Cervix Celebration with Stine B. Thirslund

  • Shetlandsgade 3, 1st floor 2300 Copenhagen Denmark (map)

We at House of Play are thrilled to announce this collaboration with the amazing Stine Brasgaard Thirslund who is going to come and share her incredible years worth of knowledge and sun-shine personality here at House of Play - many of you might know Stine from her Cervix Celebration at Borderland, and now you get a chance to experience it here!

Deep in the mysterious cave of the genetically female anatomy – a hidden secret, a portal, a gem of wild and beautiful power and knowledge hides – the cervix.

From here on I prefer to call it “she/her” but you can call her anything that feels right for you, regardless of how you identify.

In ancient tantric practises the cervix is known as the gate to higher pleasure, deep inner knowledge and guidance, and high states of orgasmic energy.

It is also a place that is known to connect to your nervous system in the most beautiful opening deep way, but unfortunately rarely experienced, seen, met, touched and respected in the manner she requires to fully open.

Many people with female anatomy however may never encounter this “gate”.

Most likely it’s more a felt sense of unease, pain or numbness and a place many avoid during lovemaking. Therefore “the gate” often remains a mystery to many.

But now you have the chance to see, meet, encounter and greet her. A new opportunity to establish a new relationship with her and yourself and maybe for your chosen partner to meet her too, to create a new bond and connection.

What is a better way to celebrate valentines day than to encounter new layers of your own inner treasure. For yourself to acknowledge and maybe for your beloved to witness.

In this workshop I will create a special space where you can have an empowering meeting with your own cervix. – I am a midwife and will guide you and maybe your partner into how you yourself can self-insert a speculum, and with the right light and a bit of help from your chosen partner take a selfie/video with your own phone and camera. In that way you take a cervix selfie of your own hidden beauty.

After that we will dive deeper into what it feels like to touch the cervix with your partner's fingers. I will guide you into explorations of touch so that you can find out what she really longs for. We might encounter all kinds of emotional releases and sounds. All is welcome and might be a surprising new encounter of hidden words and power. Honor and respect your own boundaries and know that it is held in a soft open container.

Max of 12 couples – and 12 cervix gates

If you have a very “shy” cervix or back tilted uterus it might not be possible to find the cervix without a bit of discomfort and then we will not go there but stay with the gentle acceptance of her need to stay deep and hidden. You can still honour her though.

It can take some time to find your cervix and insert the speculum and you may need to be in all kinds of creative positions.

It often creates an empowering and even touching experience to be able to locate, find, touch and see her for yourself.

The thought is to honour all our different ways we are shaped as human beings in an anatomically female body. We might be lucky to see a IUD, period blood, a cervix that has given birth and one that hasn't yet, and maybe a scar after an operation.

If possible Stine will gather and collect all the pictures of the cervixes of the day to show to all of you in the end. That is only if the wish is there from the group.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This day is for anyone curious to step into honouring and exploring, whether you are a woman with a vagina and a cervix, you have a vagina but no cervix (operation or transitioned body, we can still explore and honour your vulva/vagina and give her connected love to the scar tissue) or you are a trans man, still owning a vagina/cervix. You might find pleasure where you didn’t know it existed.

You can always reach out if you are in doubt.

If you are two cervix owners that want to partner up, you must decide who this workshop is for - since there will only be time in the workshop for one cervix pr. couple.

Your period or an IUD is no problem.

If you currently have a STD* it might not be the right timing to attend.

CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?

Yes most definitely - come with your most curious childlike curiosity and let's explore this together as perfect beginners.

DO I NEED A PARTNER?

Yes you will need to bring a partner. Find your favorite partner for this workshop - any gender is a perfect match. Maybe you want to celebrate your cervix with a loved one since it's valentines day.
