A Guided Group BDSM Ritual
We take some of the core elements of BDSM — power, control, pain, surrender, and consent — and move them into a highly facilitated, ceremonial group experience, where interaction is no longer open, but shaped through direction, hierarchy, and form.
Ritualisation forms the core of this workshop, a structured journey through initiation, offering, perversion, confession, and descent through the practice of conscious suffering. As a participant, you enter a space where you are invited to explore collective submission and your actions are guided and predetermined within a clear and conscious framework of consent.
We focus on slow, sustained intensity, using pressure, restriction, positioning, and physical manipulation to hold the body in sensation over time. The aim is to deepen the experience by surrendering to structure, allowing the nervous system to open through stillness, repetition, and guided action.
The workshop explores the erotic charge of collectively releasing control. Rather than co-creating freely, participants become part of a shared choreography. In this space, the individual subject softens, as participants enter into a collective body.
Alongside this, we work visually and compositionally:
We create living BDSM tableaus — arranging and shaping bodies into images that explore:
control and restriction
beauty and discomfort
dominance and submission
exposure and display
Using materials such as vita wrap, video projections, rope, and physical holding, we bind, position, and structure bodies as collective forms of restraint and composition.
Strong attention is given to consent. You are supported with clear methods and frameworks that allow you to engage deeply without compromising your boundaries.
The DESCENT series invites participants into a two-part journey — moving from this structured ritual (DESCENT I - Ritual Submission) into shared a group exploration (DESCENT II - Collective Suffering, on June 18). You can buy the tickets together or apart.
WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE?
How to surrender into structure while staying present
How to navigate power and hierarchy within a guided group setting
How to remain connected while being directed, exposed, or repositioned
How to hold intensity over time through stillness and repetition
How to become part of a collective composition and shared ritual field
WHO IS THIS FOR?
For those curious about:
Entering more structured, ritualised BDSM experiences
Exploring submission, control, and hierarchy in a group setting
The intersection of BDSM, performance, and collective creation
Working with the body as both sensory and artistic material
Advanced practitioners to newcomers. You don’t need experience, but you should feel open to following guidance, engaging with structure, and exploring intensity in connection with others.
CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?
To participate, we recommend that you have some prior experience with boundaries and consent, both your own and other’s.
You don’t need prior experience with BDSM, but please note the subjects we will be focusing on and that this is something you want to explore, including states of surrender and suffering.
You will be guided through consent, structure, and exercises step by step.
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
You can come alone, in pairs or as a group.
The exercises are often practical, physical, and hands-on. You’ll be invited to work with different people in various combinations throughout the workshop, giving you the chance to co-create in a fluid, collective experience.
DRESSCODE
Wear something comfortable that you can move around freely in.
We encourage you to dress in a way that makes you feel powerful, exposed, or expressive.
No street- or office wear.

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
Anso’s (she/her) current artistic work develops spaces where power, intimacy and desire can be explored with awareness and intention. She creates immersive formats where BDSM practice becomes both artistic material and relational inquiry. Alongside this, her curatorial work operates across larger cultural frameworks, shaping international collaborations and platforms that examine how art and culture can influence perception, contribute to structural change, and foster connectedness in a fragmented world.
Jac Fabian (he/him) is an experienced rope bondage and kink practitioner who’s been teaching and facilitating for more than a decade. His focus is the meeting point of perversion, power dynamics, aesthetics, group facilitation and co-creation processes, artistic experimentation, and consciousness. Jac is the founder and director of House of Play. He has performed in Tokyo, at The Danish Royal Theatre and many other kink and art venues.
