Building Bridges – Bedside x House of Play

  • Shetlandsgade 3, 1st floor 2300 Copenhagen Denmark (map)

Whether it’s out on the streets or in the sheets, we believe that solidarity, curiosity, and care are radical forces. In a world that tries to divide us into fractions, we believe that coming together across communities is an act of rebellion.

This night is about building bridges between communities, practices, and identities — so we can stand stronger, together.

Bedside Production and House of Play proudly join forces to invite you into a steamy, playful, and rebellious gathering where pleasure meets politics, and intimacy meets community.

What to expect:

  • Epic DJs and sweaty dancefloor energy

  • Sneaky glimpses into Bedside Productions films

  • A co-created opening ceremony to ground us and bring us together

  • A conscious, sober-friendly space

  • All-gender playspace + Flinta* playspace

  • Warm hosts and a welcoming atmosphere

Kink has many faces, many languages, and many ways of being lived. This night is an invitation to share, learn, and grow — together. To be curious about each other’s desires, boundaries, cultures, and expressions. To embrace difference as strength.

Whether you want your legs sore from dancing all night, your heart full from meaningful connections, or your ass sore from delicious play — you are welcome here.

Let’s rebel with tenderness.
Let’s build pleasure together.
Let’s make space for joy, freedom, and friendship.

Join us for a night where we rise, sweat, laugh, play, and connect — side by side.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS

Bedside Productions began as a queer feminist porn-production company, rooted in a vibrant and dedicated community. From the outset, our mission has been to create queer porn by queers, for queers—content that reflects our bodies, our desires, and the multiplicity of identities within our communities.

Today, Bedside Productions has grown into an association with broad creative ambitions. We work across media including film, photography, prints and performances. At the core of all our work lies a commitment to fostering safer spaces and increasing visibility for sexual minorities and marginalized gender identities. We do this through parties, magazine releases, film productions, performances, and communal events that center pleasure, connection, and representation.

Our guiding principle is sex- and body-positivity. We believe that bodies, sex - and sexuality is political. By embracing this openly, we create work that challenges norms, resists erasure, and uplifts those whose expressions of sexuality and gender have been historically marginalized.

House of Play was born out of the dream to create a community space that brings together conscious sexuality, consent, bodywork, kink, rope, movement, and art together under one roof, creating a place where playful and curious people can learn, share, grow and play together in a safer and liberated way. Currently the space is run by 50+ people, primarily volunteers, who all contribute in different ways to make the space exist.

We dream of contributing to a society where being more connected with yourself, your sexuality and your boundaries helps build less shame and more love, connection, presence, vulnerability and courage. We do it by offering a broad array of events, that all stand on the core values of embodied consentwork, staying in tune with the body, offering opportunities to slow down and to let loose. By bringing together people and offering opportunities to connect with others as a basic human need in a world of disconnect,  we believe we foster more compassion and understanding into a world, that really needs it.

Each opportunity to meet yourself and others with playfulness, curiosity, vulnerability and bravery is an opportunity to help rebel against a culture of disconnection, division and consumerism.
