Power Play Pleasures
Monthly Facilitated Polarity Exploration

Free for members, 300 dkk for non-members

This monthly polarity exploration is dedicated to playing with both sides of the exchange of power in a fun, playful, inspiring and safer framework.

We will dive into the bliss of submitting to someone else’s joy, lust and desire – the freedom of letting go of any plan or ambition.

And we will feel the delight of taking control and exercising the power to be wicked, caring, humorous or dead serious as we please.

At each monthly Power Play Pleasures we will facilitate a variety of different scenes and games that allow you to explore the many aspects of playing with power. This can be in pairs, trios and groups and all roles possible, that offer you opportunities to explore different emotions, energies and connections.

We will inspire you to play with various archetypical ways of giving and taking control, and we will facilitate sharing of our experiences, tips and tricks to dive even deeper into the pleasures of power play. We invite you to move beyond the black and white archetypes of the hard and distant dominant and the shy and passive submissive. How do we go with what is alive in us and between us, how do we step into various roles in ways that feel real and perhaps reach into deeper emotions, fantasies and longings inside of us?

Each evening has its own set of rules and we set up the space in various ways, using props, chairs, tools, lighting, dividing the room into special zones etc. to inspire many kinds of play and encounters, in a way that makes everyone feel safer.

You will be invited to have many small or longer sessions in different roles and settings. Each encounter can be slow, intense, beautiful, challenging, awkward, fun, simple or exciting – and perhaps you will learn new sides of yourself you never knew you had.

The Power Play Pleasures playbook includes scenes and games developed by the House of Play crew, and some are inspired by others, like Felix Ruckers (Berlin) and Andy Buru (Stockholm).

BOUNDARIES

Each session has specific rules for engagement and we facilitate each evening in ways that explicitly support you in taking care of your own boundaries, and the people you play with.

We always do some warm up consent exercises and we always explain and demonstrate how you can say yes and no to various kinds of interactions. This includes always moving slow enough so the other person has a chance to withdraw from the interaction. Every scene is an invitation to play in ways that feel safer and inspiring for you.

TIMES

  • 18.30 Doors open – we encourage you to arrive early to land in the space and meet the people you’ll be sharing the evening with.

  • 19.00 Doors close, you cannot arrive after this time.

  • 22.00 End of the facilitated evening, you can hang out for a little while to decompress and socialize in our lounge.

WHO IS THIS FOR

This is both for newbies that want to dip their toes into the blissful landscape of power exchange and dive into various roles of submission and domination in a facilitated setting. And it’s for the more experienced players who just want to explore a fun and intense evening, playing with both sides of the coin of power and maybe be inspired into new ways of playing.

SHOULD I BRING A PARTNER?

At these events you cannot play only with your partner, as the exercises include switching partners. You can of course still join as a pair, a group or alone, as long as you are willing to have a number of small meetings with different people, always within your limits.

WHAT TO WEAR

Wear something that you can move around freely in and that makes you feel sexy. We encourage everyone to make an effort and leave their street clothes at home.

WHAT TO BRING

You don’t need to bring anything other than yourself and a bottle with a lid.

In some cases we may ask you to bring something special if you can, this will be communicated in the sign-up e-mail.
